Making Hydrogen Valley a Reality
LIFE3H project aims to set up, demonstrate and exploit 3 Hydrogen Valleys (HV) in central Italy starting with the construction of buses fuelled by excess H2 from local industrial production, thus closing the loop locally.

Hydrogen is the first, lightest and most abundant chemical substance in the universe, thus making it the most suitable energy carrier to support the increasing electrification. As a chemical element, it can act as long-term energy storage.
Mobility and Hydrogen
Transportation is a major contributor to air pollution, emitting 32% of CO2 emissions in the EU. The needs of a more environmental-friendly mobility solutions are inevitable. Hydrogen is among the most promising decarbonization options to provide sufficient power for long ranges and high payloads transports due to its nature of superior energy density.
