Il 10 marzo 2023 si è tenuto a Pescara, nella suggestiva cornice del palazzo Aurum, il Workshop ‘Progetti LIFE d’Abruzzo’. Durante l’evento sono state presentate le opportunità offerte dal Programma LIFE 2021- 2027 indirizzato all’attuazione di progetti con ‘valore aggiunto europeo’ ricompresi nei diversi settori prioritari d’intervento dei 4 Sottoprogrammi LIFE: ‘Natura e biodiversità’, ‘Economia circolare e qualità della vita’, ‘Mitigazione e adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici’ e ‘Transizione all’energia pulita’. Nel corso del Workshop sono state poi illustrate 6 esperienze di progetti LIFE realizzate o in corso di esecuzione in territorio abruzzese e finalizzate a sperimentare, testare o applicare best practices e soluzioni innovative e sostenibili per affrontare le consolidate o emergenti sfide ambientali e climatiche (LIFE SAFE CROSSING, LIFE DELFI, LIFE BITMAPS, LIFE ALL-IN, LIFE3H, LIFE + A_GreeNet). Le potenzialità e le attività implementate nel progetto LIFE3H sono state descritte dal Dottor Pierpaolo Pescara, Direttore del Dipartimento Governo del Territorio e Politiche Ambientali della Regione Abruzzo.
On 10 March 2023 the Workshop ’LIFE Projects of Abruzzo’ was held in Pescara, in the beautiful Aurum building. During the event were presented the opportunities offered by the LIFE Programme 2021-2027 aimed at the implementation of projects with ‘European added value’ included in the different priority areas of intervention of the 4 LIFE Sub-programmes: ‘Nature and Biodiversity’, ‘Circular Economy and Quality of Life’, ‘Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation’ and ‘Transition to Clean Energy’. During the event 6 experiences of LIFE projects implemented or being implemented in the Abruzzo territory and aimed at experimenting, demonstrating or applying best practices and innovative and sustainable solutions to face consolidated or emerging environmental and climate challenges (LIFE SAFE CROSSING, LIFE DELFI, LIFE BITMAPS, LIFE ALL-IN, LIFE3H, LIFE + A_GreeNet) were illustrated. The potential and the activities implemented in the LIFE3H project were described by Dr. Pierpaolo Pescara, Director of the Department of Territorial Government and Environmental Policies of the Abruzzo Region.
